By bike, on foot or on the water – experience Schleswig-Holstein in a variety of ways.

Schleswig-Holstein is a paradise for cyclists. Whether you wish to explore the wide flat countryside on the 13 well-developed long-distance cycle paths, or discover the real North on the regional routes, there is always something to see.

In Germany’s most northern federal state, holidaymakers don’t just have the choice between the two coasts of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea; there are also many beautiful lakes. It stands to reason that water sports are among the number one activities! Set sail, explore nature in a canoe or use the wind and pick up speed on a surf board.

If you prefer something quieter, you can try hiking in one of the six nature parks and be enchanted by the variety of nature in Schleswig-Holstein.
