Nature lovers can discover the wonderful coastal landscape and the hilly peninsula of Anglia by bike or on foot. Pristine beach oases tempt you to linger along the way!
Admire the old traditional and professional sailing ships in the museum harbour in Flensburg’s Old Town! Our tip: Sit on the wooden planks of the museum harbour, fish roll in hand, and watch the daring manoeuvres of the gulls in flight.
You can find this passage with its picturesque fishermen’s houses in the north of Flensburg’s Old Town. Once, it was known as “sinners’ mile” and as the centre of the red light district, but now you can admire the lovingly restored façades.
Discover the tangled system of alleys and pretty little houses in the picturesque Captain’s Quarter on a walk far from the bustle of the town – formerly captains’ houses wreathed in climbing roses with small, sloping gardens.
Shops, restaurants, and cafés run as family businesses, and the five merchants’ courtyards lend a unique flair to shopping in Rote Straße.
The sandy beach in Solitüde offers plenty of space for activities, always with a magnificent view of the Danish coast.
