Siegfried Lindhorst knows what he is writing about, because until his retirement in 2014, he was Head of the Homicide Commission Itzehoe for twenty years, with responsibility for the districts of Steinburg, Pinneberg and Dithmarschen. He has been writing crime novels for several years, never relying on effects, but on proximity to reality. While the focus of police, Justitia and the public during the investigation, the criminal proceedings and then mostly on the offender, in Lindhorst's books always get the victims a voice and a face. Today he reads from "Past and not over" - an exciting story about the ending of a relationship - in the kitchen studio 48.
