Hendrik-Meyer-Quintett plays music of Wes Montgomery. On June 25, 1962, legendary US guitarist Wes Montgomery, along with tenor saxonist Johnny Griffin and the rhythm section of the Miles Davis Quintet, recorded his best-known live album, Full House, one of the first in jazz history. At the suggestion of bass player Paul Imm, and after more than thirty years of dealing with the music of Wes Montgomery, the Hamburg jazz guitarist Hendrik Meyer decided to reinterpret and perform this music with the same instrumentation. Look forward to an evening of exciting, high-energy music. Ralph Reichert (ts), Hendrik Meyer (guit), Buggy Braune (piano), Paul Imm (bass), Björn Lücker (drums)
