Frühlingsklänge

on March 26, 2019 at 19:30 o'clock in Glückstadt

An evening with the wind band Wewelsfleth. The Wind Orchestra Wewelsfleth is a dedicated amateur orchestra from our neighboring community Wewelsfleth. Traditionally, the musicians enrich the program for KulturMärz Glückstadt. The orchestra was founded in 1955 by the then pastor Hans Lohse. At that time, the so-called "Wewelsfleth Village and Shipyard Chapel" mainly organized processions, village festivals, rallies and church services. In 1975, Heinz Brockmann took over the orchestra and made the "Wewelsflether Sound" known far beyond the borders of Schleswig-Holstein. Since 2017, Uwe Ehrenberg has been directing the wind orchestra from the idyllic neighboring town on the Störmündung. At the KulturMärz 2019, the Wewelsfleth wind orchestra will once again present its diverse repertoire in the premises of Sparkasse Westholstein on Fritz-Lau-Platz. We can expect this evening a varied mix of concert wind music over pop music to performances of traditional marches and mood music - this year under the special heading "music from movies".
