In a cozy café atmosphere with cake, coffee and Çay, Kerem Cansiz will entertain you with songs on the traditional Turkish stringed instrument, the balama. The happiness-loving Kerem Cansiz will play melancholic and emotional, traditional as well as modern Turkish songs on the traditional stringed instrument, the balama. From Turkey to Armenia, from Iran to Afghanistan, various variants of the Balama are used under the generic term Saz. The concert takes place as part of the Haymat Hafen Café - a Glückstädter Encounter Café, which is largely designed by Glückstadt residents with a migration background. There you can chat with other visitors over coffee, cake and Turkish tea (Çay) or simply listen to the music. The Haymat Hafen project was founded by the City of Glückstadt and the Familienverein in Glückstadt and Umgebung eV and funded and supported by the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The Haymat Hafen Café takes place every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the old cinema.
