Museums, music and literature

Around 240 museums in Schleswig-Holstein tell stories about the regions, the people and the sea. They present art and cultural history from the Stone Age to the present day, explain scientific phenomena and illustrate technological developments. Tours and hands-on activities are ideal for families who like to be creative and want to try out new things.

For festivals and concert series, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, not only museums are turned into concert halls: Churches, manor estates and ferries also set the scene for international musicians and major works by composers. In Niendorf, the port area and the shipyard are the stage for a jazz festival: JazzBaltica. Industrial history and music combined – an inspiring cultural delight.

Does your ideal cultural holiday include culinary delights and a bit of wellness? With the KulturTräume (Culture Dreams) packages, our Ringhotel partners offer a full carefree package for the “cultural holiday of your dreams” in Schleswig-Holstein.
