Günter Grass House

The Günter Grass House is dedicated to the life and artistic work of the Nobel Prize winner for literature, graphic artist and sculptor Günter Grass. The world-famous Nobel Prize laureate had his secretariat here and lived close to the Hanseatic city until his death in April 2015. The historic building ensemble on Glockengießerstrasse 21 is the ideal place to present his work in the context of a modern museum architecture. The Günter Grass House sees itself as a forum for literature and the fine arts. Changing exhibitions and other events supplement the programme.
