A Holiday Getaway
From the Holstein Tower’s glass observation deck you will have a compelling view of the Bay of Lübeck and Holsteinische Schweiz. Thoughtfully designed themed areas invite you to take a look around. The elegant shows presented on northern Germany’s largest variety stage and the Patagonian sea lion performances are also a treat for the eyes and ears. And of course HANSA-PARK’s catering fulfils everyone’s wishes too. Whether you’re after coffee and cake, a fresh, crispy salad, or a seasonal meal using typical regional ingredients - at HANSA-PARK there are also delicious treats for vegetarians and diabetics so you can feast to your heart’s desire.
Garden Dreams & Floral Magic by the Sea
Gardens are short-lived miracles with constantly changing seasonal attractions. That’s why the art of gardening is of utmost importance at HANSA-PARK. Wherever you look, there are flowers, shrubs, colourful garden beds, native and exotic blooms - all harmoniously embedded in a semi-natural, 46-hectare, park landscape. A fantastic garden show in a class of its own! Take your time to absorb this beautiful paradise with all your senses.
"HANSA in EUROPE" Theme World
The 18-metre-tall Holsten Gate is the world’s largest replica. Fascinatingly exact in its detail, it was built using the same materials as the original symbol of the ’Queen of the Hanseatic League’. Unveiled in 2008, it’s the first section in the construction of "HANSA in EUROPE" at HANSA-PARK.
Once completed, this gigantic themed world will provide a unique tour of European history - from Bergen in Norway to Paris, from La Rochelle to Lisbon, from Bruges to Visby and from Novgorod to Venice - places represented by imposing architectural works of art and genuine, authentic buildings. With its many maritime exhibits, HANSA-PARK is already a cultural and recreational experience for all ages that’s unique in Germany. The one-of-a-kind development of this new themed area is set to be completed in the next few years, and it will bring a uniquely broad spectrum of the HANSA’s architectural history together with adventurous exhibits, adventurous catering and historical HANSEATIC ’Kontor’ buildings, culminating in outstanding cultural and family entertainment.
