The Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Agency (TASH) has been responsible for promoting tourism throughout the state of Schleswig-Holstein since 2001. It coordinates the preparation and marketing of tourism products and services according to various target groups.
TASH supports its partners in developing and marketing products and services which appeal to target groups. TASH acts as an interface, bundling the marketing activities and thus increasing their effectiveness.
In addition, it coordinates tasks and responsibilities between regions, towns and service providers. TASH also offers a comprehensive service in the fields of online presence, public relations, sales, market research, international marketing and trade fairs.
As part of the active re-orientation of tourism activities, TASH determines quality standards in cooperation with numerous tourism partners in the state. These standards are conditions for participation in the marketing programme.
If these standards are adhered to, the specified target groups can be appealed to according to their value profiles and the tourism products and services can be tailored individually to the target groups ‘family’, ‘older visitors’ and ‘pleasure seekers’.
